IQ most definitely measures problem solving ability, solving problems is literally what you do on an IQ test. What IQ does not measure is knowledge and skill. However, I do agree that high IQ does not necessarily guarantee taking wise decisions, bad decisions (in hindsight) may happen.

Interestingly, Mensa claim it measures up to 151 IQ (80 raw score). 132 IQ is 73/80 here. Based on the conversion table provided, it does appear to have been normed. I wouldn’t be all that surprised, really. People underestimate the ceilings of tests with simple items when the g-loading is high (and it is going to be high, in this case).
