Evening all, Hope to rejoin the blue badge club very soon in a Mondeo diesel estate, either the 140PS 2.0l or 175l 2.2l. They would be high mileage (120-140k) in the price range that I'm looking at, what should I look out for?
This issue was resolved with the help of users from another forum. For anyone interested: Injector 2 was leaking past the copper seal, removed injector, cleaned off all the carbon & replaced washer, car runs like new.
I have recently acquired an 2005 Mondeo, 2.0 TDCi 130hp and I have the following problem: When I first start it during the day (doesn't matter if it's cold or warm outside, the problem always happen) I get a good amount of white/blue-ish smoke with a strange smell. Also, the RPM fluctuates for about 30seconds-1 minute.

Been at the car today.. got live diags up for fuel pressure, fuel and reporting 800-1000 kpa and a desired of almost 30000 kpa with a simmilar story on the injectors live data showing about 5kpa and a desired of almost 60kpa. Ill add a photo when im home to show the data.

Marks got a stonking 176bhp and i've got as near dammit 170bhp. My car feels really powerful now. 2002 Mondeo Zetec S TDCI.
