On more than just on forum, I got the distinct impression that the Ford Focus had some sort of mystery surrounding my Battery light symptom. At least four instances were cited where the post indicated both battery and alternator replacement did not resolve their battery light issues. $120 for a battery, $600-800 I read were typical costs for

Apparently the garage have said the alternator is fine and im able to see it pretty much pushes out a contant 13.96 - 14.06 volts while driving around and idle. Load test shows. Base battery voltage 12.1V. car held 1500 revs minimal electrics on 14.06V. Car held 2000 revs heaters on and AC full beam light and radio 13.56V.
