Currently have f30 335d and came from e92 330d jusy wondered how people compare on the F series the only thing swaying me awayay from Xdrive is the cost if anything was to fail and the technical issues when comes to tyre sizes and tyre wear etc.

Newbie here although I have been a relative serial BMW owner with an e90 and F30 320d and current 330d under my belt amongst a few others. I’m looking at changing early next year and have settled on the 2 above, having an F30 330d and being more than happy with everything about it apart from the low rent interior I reckon a 330d M Sport touring would be all the car I need.

1 - 20 of 29 Posts. A few Google searches will reveal a few problems, nothing serious though from what I can tell and doesnt seem to be affected by the same timing chain issues as the n47. I have the f30 330d which I bought back in November. Mines at 95k miles now and seems to be running great, absolutely love the car.
