Let me put it this way. I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet from 2012 that still works, and holds a charge just fine. I have a Galaxy Note 3 from 2013 that, although it needed a replacement battery (which is easy to do because it was user-replaceable back in those days), continues to function fine.
