Necro and rangers are pretty easy with their pets. guardian is the better verison of warrior. thief is squishy, mesmers can be complicated and elementalists are sqhishy but once you learn how to dodge dmg you might enjoy full range and pulsing aoe dps. For Spvp - guardian, necro , ranger. For WvW - guardian, necro, elementalist. The Structured Player vs. Player arenas of Guild Wars 2 attract a lot of players and have been an enduringly popular game mode. Over the years, the meta that people use to build and fight has changed – and now, near the end of 2019, it’s a good time to explore those builds. Keep reading to see what people are doing with every class for PvP. 9. Rangers can choose Druid from the HoT spec. and Soulbeast from Path of Fire. Druids can be one of the best healers in the game and are generally wanted in all endgame content. I would also suggest you try out a couple classes that sound good to you. You can create a class and go to the pvp lobby and have access to all level 80 skills and such.

Necromancer is by far the most recommended class for new players. It has the highest baseline health, among the best passive defenses of any class, and a straightforward playstyle that is pretty easy to learn the basics with. Mesmer is a little more complex. It has less baseline health than necromancer and fewer passive defenses.

Guild Wars 2 mixes up many of these things. Outside of high-level group content, for example, healers aren't really used much - players take care of their own healing for the most part. Every class can capably self-heal, for starters, which is quite a departure considering that in some MMOs, some classes can't heal at all.
First of all, welcome to GW2! A few things first: sPvP uses standard gear and stats regardless of your lvl. A lvl 2 player has the same stats as a lvl 80. If you don't like PvE you don't have to step foot in it. You can lvl exclusively from PvP (thanks to Tomes of Knowledge that you get from Reward Tracks)
Sharper play and the right build are simply far more important than ilvl in this game. To illustrate the point, here's a video where I solo an HoT champion in level 60-65 blue/green gear on my weaver. At about 50%, another player enters, presumably geared in 80 exotic (or better) as most players in HoT are.
For new and returning players to this MMORPG, With even more elite specializations coming, here's a look at the best classes in Guild Wars 2. 9 The Warrior Profession.

2. Armorsmith/Leatherworker/Tailor. Now the choice here pretty much depends on what professions you play. The whole point of these crafting disciplines is to gear your characters with Ascended Armor. Armorsmith is for Heavy Armor, Leatherworker is for Medium Armor and Tailor, you guessed it, is for Light Armor.
